How much does a nursery mural cost?

I create hand-painted nursery murals in my fun and distinctive style.

But how much does a nursery mural normally cost?

And what is the process?

Nursery mural by Melanie Williamson with whales swimming in the sea, fishes, mountains and hot-air balloons

Whale-themed nursery mural in Manchester

Mels painted a safari scene in our little boy’s nursery. She was great and really helpful, incorporating all of our ideas into the design and adding more of her own, and really listening to what we wanted. The mural is absolutely beautiful. My little boy loves it and says ‘night-night’ to his animals every bedtime!

In my case, each mural is completely unique and created in my distinctive style, with a high-quality finish using at least two coats of paint.

Unlike a sticker, it will not peel off!

I’m also very careful to design something that will look look good over time, and won’t have to be painted over when the nursery changes to a bedroom, or gets used by new little ones.

Murals typically take between 3 and 5 days, depending on the size and complexity of the scene or design, number of characters, number and size of walls, or if any surface prep is needed.
